How soon can I workout after wisdom teeth pulled?
How soon can I lift weights after getting 2 top wisdom teeth pulled?
It has been 3 days:
Bleeding has stoped
Swelling is going down
I am off the pain meds
How soon can I start back up my lifting???
-Thanks in advance

I started lifting the next day. As long as you stay away from anything that might send a shock to your skull (like jogging), you should be fine by the next day. Some people are lucky enough to even be able to eat solid food the same day.

Next day son. I don't think the concern is with your mouth itself healing as much as how your body reacts to the anestesia (sp?) or whatever drugs you're taking.

1-2 weeks, me 2 weeks. I wasn't eager to workout. More eat again. Eat nothing but Icecream, yogurt, and pudding for a week. Hell!

Thats the problem. I have heard everything from 10 days to next day.
The thing that worries me is I am not supposed to do anything to raise my blood pressure (i.e. lift heavy) due to the fact that my teeth being pulled has left a blood clot their and the worst thing that can happen is for that to burst....
But at the same time, I really want to get back in the gym.

Well actually I lifted the same day I got them out(no brag),got all four out by just got numbed and didn't get put to sleep(yes alpha, if did again though I would get put to sleep). So if you get put to sleep, I'd wait a couple days, otherwise, I didn't have hardly any pain afterwards, used just OTC ibuprofen.

Its not about shock as the guy said ahead its the increased bloodflow and testion( you tense your mouth when you lift). This will cause the wound to reopen. I was back at it after resting the day of and day after.
