Near drowning. was surfing and wasnt wearing my leash. way out and about 6ft waves. im a good swimmer but i got up and the wave crashed to early got thrown off and my board got taken all the way in. i kept trying to swim in but we were probably 200 yrds out. waves kept throwing me around and under could barely keep my head above, i was shouting for my friend and he couldnt hear me, i was about 75yrds from shore or so and all of a sudden this kid took a wave and came right by me and let me rest on his board. the whole time right before that i just started thinking about **** and what was happening and scared the **** out of me. cant think of anything else right now

Was about a half a second long, but i was waiting in a two lane left turn lane. There was a bigger SUV to the left of me, got the green arrow to turn and the SUV starts going and so do i. I notice the SUV slam on her brakes, i was kinda confused i look left as i am passing the stopped SUV to see a big ford truck barreling right towards me. He swerves out of the way and i still don't know how he missed me. The grill of the truck was literally going to hit me right in the face at 50+ mph. Would've been insta death. scurry ****, thought i was gonna die.

I was in a car accident in this very twisty road and just to sum it up real quick, I skid into the side of the hill/mountain/road/whatever it is and it shot me up ( kind of like a ramp) and bounce off 15 feet off ground. I came close to falling off the edge. This was the night before my high school senior good bye rally. I still remeber going back to school that day in the morning, all bruised and beat up. People thought I was crying, since it was the last day of school. It scared the **** out of me, and made me think. Because people thought I would never make past high school since I was a trouble maker and all. Kind of scary, I almost didn't!!!!

Almost drowned when i was like 1-2... fell into a pool, mom saved my ass.

Almost drowned in the ocean when i was like 6-7.. i was in the shallow part, but the waves were slowly pulling me outwards, i didnt really realize it, when i did it was too late.. my mom came charging down the beach baywatch style and rescued me rofl.

Saved a girl from getting raped by fighting off 2 guys much older than me.. i got hit in the face with a tree branch and almost got KTFO.. if i did, i would probably be dead or totally fu cked up.

Almost ODed on Cocaine.. when i woke up the next day, i could barely breath and i had intense pain in my whole body.

Edit: FORGOT ABOUT SLEEP PARALYSIS... SCARIEST **** EVER..LITERALLY SECONDS AWAY FROM DEATH.

Was at a house party and someone knocked on the door. My friend opened it and someone shot him in the stomach then a bunch of them started shooting through the window. It's amazing nobody else got hit.

Yea it was ****ing scary. The guy totally blew that light, the light was red and he hadn't even gotten to the intersection yet. I don't think he was even paying attention until he saw me.

Oh and i also almost choked to death on a sausage when i was a kid (no homo). I guess i was a problem child and my mom thought i was just messing with her for attention lol i had to reach my hand in and there was a loose piece of skin from the sausage hanging that i grabbed and pulled out. How bad would she have felt if i died right in front of her lawl

mine was when i was 13 i raced motoX for NEMAX and i landed up short on a triple jump. the bike behind me landed on my back seperated a disc and broke both my knees outward. i was rushed to the hospital to get screws in both knees and get surgery on my back. i thought for sure i was paralyzed and could never walk again. 6 months 3 surgeries later i took my first steps again. i retired from racing and just ride for fun now

Probably when I was in a car with my uncle and a couple of my cousins, and it got shot at. My cousin got hit, when he was covering me.

It was pretty scary, considering I was about 5, and had saw my uncle almost get killed in a shooting the previous year.

Getting held up by a crackhead with a knive to my temple was pretty fcuked up also. But, it becomes the norm.

Damn, I miss the ghetto.

My mom was driving home and I was in the back seat in our brand new Porsche, and we ran into a tow truck hook laying in the middle of the freeway, and it ripped our motor and stuff out, so we ran across the freeway (with lots of cars going 80+) and called 911, and we watched 10 other cars hit our car and the tow truck hook. One of the cars body got ripped right off, and there were sparks everywere, the accidents were so bad, I wasnt sure if the people died or not.
Then we drove back home in a police car, we sold the Porsche as scrap metal, bought our new car, a Porsche 911 slantnose turbo

It was terrifying because I was just a little kid, but it all worked out ok, because now we have the coolest car ever.

Blew a tire going down the highway. Major fish tail, I slam on the brakes, and ended up spinning and going backwards into the ditch and trees on the right. Scariest 15 seconds of my life.

When I was 13 I lived in Florida and I tried to surf Tropical Storm Ana. Tried to make it out but got caught by a set coming in. I knew it was coming and I was going to get fukked. I was like 4 foot nothin' and 110lbs. at the time and these waves were about 14' feet tall marching in in huge long lines. It felt like my heart had risen up into my throat. I scratched for the horizon in hopes of making it before they broke but my attempt was in vain. The first wave of the set broke about 10 yards in front of me. By this time I was super tired from trying to make it before they broke so I had almost zero energy left. The wave exploded into a huge wall of white wash which to me looked as if an entire condominium was moving towards me. I knew there was way no way to duck dive under this beast of a wave. I ditched my board and swam down as far as I could on such short notice. It felt like I only got a foot under water by the power the wave had hit me with. I was rag dolled like some kind of limp mannequin. I was already out of breath from paddling for my life to make it outside of the breaking zone, and the power of the wave seemed to push the rest out of me. My lungs were burning, it felt like someone had doused them in everclear and then lit them on fire. Finally I succumbed to nature's fury and inhaled a ****load of water. It seemed as soon as I did this the wave let me go. However I was still disoriented as hell and I had no idea which way was up. The water was super bubbly and foamy so it felt like I wasn't going anywhere and I was motionless in the ocean. Finally, with burning lungs and bloodshot eyes I broke the surface. I was coughing like mad and I couldn't get any air in. My board was long gone. I don't even remember the feeling of the violent tug and then subsequent snap that generally comes when a leash is broken. I was so relieved but then I remembered, and I looked up and there was yet another seemingly mountainous wall of white wash careening towards me, this one a little smaller than the first because I had been pushed in. I never really even came close to catching my breath. I dove down even further this time but to no avail. I was rag dolled yet again, but not as bad. I took in some water but not as much as before. I was under for less time too but I was still hurting and in some serious trouble. After this beast released me I was yet again confused and disoriented. I couldn't see **** in the water except for bubbles and brownish blackness. I picked a direction that felt like up and thankfully I made it. AGAIN, I was coughing and struggling for air. At this time I was beyond exhausted. My lungs screamed kill me. My muscles burned and my sinuses felt like I snorted habanero sauce. Yet again another wave came, however it was a lot smaller than the previous two. Still huge compared to me, but a lot less huge and something more manageable. I pretty much got ass hole ****ed on this wave again too. Leaving me yet again within the throws of death, or so it felt. I coughed, snorted, gagged and weezed some more before the final wave, which by this time was probably only 7 feet, overcame me. I had delt with a beast of this size before and after being rag dolled in a more familiar way it let me go. There I looked out at the horizon, thanking God and all things holy that this was the last. I caught my breath and then began the journey back to the shore which felt like a hundred miles away. I got the **** kicked out of me some more as I was coming in. I could hardly breath. The only thing I could think was "swim" and so in my head I was just thinking "swim, swim, swim, swim" and that's all I did, that's all I could do. I swam. I was in the ****ing zone. Right now I wasn't thinking about anything but that, not my family, not my dog, not surfing, just swimming, because I knew that was the only thing that was keeping me alive. I was so entranced by swimming that I didn't notice when I was coming upon the shore and my hands hit the sand and the swim turned into a crawl. It felt like I had been swimming for days. It felt like that's all I had ever done and that everything else I had done and acheived in my life was some faint memory of a former life that took place 100 years ago. I kept crawling and crawling until I got up past the waterline and just collapsed on the sand, weezing endlessly. While keeping my head on the sand I shifted my eyes up and out of the corner of my eye I saw an elderly couple taking turns holding my surfboard and posing for pictures. How lovely.

And that is definitely the scariest moment ever. I'd say seeing those elephants line up on the horizon was the scariest of it all. While getting the **** kicked out of me by the wave was scary, it wasn't as scary because it was happening and my survival mode kicked in. I think looking at the horizon and watching my empending doom approach was scarier because I didn't know what was going to happen for sure.

I had nightmares about this **** for a few months. Kept surfing though, took me a while to get rid of the fear of large waves. I still get some flashbacks with anything over 6 ft. Good thing I live in Texas now...

probably didn't need to make it so long, but oh well...
