A Question About Pork
Now...I know chicken breast, tilapia, and other lean meats like steak are great on a diet.
My grandfather is from the south, and he cooks pork chops now and then, and there are usually some left
over, as he fries them, but I sometimes liked to grill them back in the summer.
Are they ok on a cut, ok once in a while on a cut, or should I avoid them completely?

Eating it fried isn't worth it. It still packs a ton of protein but eating anything fried isn't the best on a cut. Grill it and cut as much fat off of it as possible, then it's good for a cut.

Yeah, my idea was to just grill them on my indoor grill (too cold outside >_<).

Pork may not be the best choice because it?s usually fat by nature, but things are slowly changing for our friends that were once very fat. Pigs have evolved over the years and what was once a traditionally a short fat pig, is now long and more muscular. I imagine that in moderation you would be fine, it's the calories you need to watch.

Pork Tenderloin is on my list of charred animal flesh to consume - you can get it for $2/lb in bulk, just cut into 1" slices, season and grill them, and you're good to go. About as much fat as 90% ground or a semi-lean piece of steak, so eat in moderation.
My recent flesh sacrifices usually involves 3 lb 90% hamburgers, 2lb pork tenderloin, and 3-4 lbs chicken breasts, then I nosh on it for a week - good stuff, caveman style

Yeah, I buy pork loin roast all the time and do it up on the George Foreman. No frying, though. And I always buy the lean stuff at Costco/Sams. Good stuff and tons of protein.
