The IS owns. I have it on my ipod 5g of 3 years, no scratches.
However, the shield turned YELLOW so it looks as if someone pissed over mah white ipod.
You a smoker by chance? One of my friends' did the same. The only thing we could come up with was that he was a smoker. Mine never did it.

Ive had one before, they start to peel off after a while and dirt and crap gets inside it. Worth it though, they can take a keying with no damage to your phone.

I've had a IS on my iPod Nano 2G for over a year and it worked out fine, got a BSE for my iPod Video and it works just as well. Little warning, it will change the feel of your touch device some like it others hate it.
I got one of those for my BlackBerry a while back. I must say that it is truly a great product. I took some of the 'scraps' that came with it and tried pushing a pen through it. I was unsuccessful in doing so.
I even got a replacement from them for no charge and no questions asked.

Invisible Shield - I thought this was going to be a joke...probably cuz I watched something called "Special" with Mike Rapparport in it last night lol. See the movie, it may have been great, but may have sucked. I'm still not sure (no thread hijack, I forwarded to my ipod touch having colleague)
