Fitness Gear 360 Core Suspension Trainer any good?

    http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/pr...ductId=3335670

I don't know if I should buy the Fitness Gear 360 Core Suspension Trainer. Has anyone bought this/ used it before??? Does it seem to be sturdy enough??? Is it junk???

If I buy this, I'm going to get this bench for it http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/pr...ductId=3351211

The list price for the Fitness Gear 360 Core Suspension Trainer is 600 dollars and its on sale for 300. The bench list price is 200 and is on sale for 130.

    Thanks for your help.

What do you want to use this for?

Do you need aplace to hang rings or are you getting into lifting weights?

By the way that isn't "on sale". nothing ever sells for the "list price" so finding stuff advertised like that doesn't mean its a deal.

I'd like to know how much weight that thing can hold. But I get the feeling that no matter the purpose there are better pieces of equipment out there to do it.

Did you actually try a floor model out? I have and I'm glad I walked away from it. I really considered it until someone here suggested a power cage. I'm glad I went with the cage. The 360 sway's side to side and was not nearly as sturdy and safe as a cage.

You can do everything you mentioned on a safe cage.

So, why don't you buy a power rack? Those exercises are what a power rack is designed for.

Some people may do, but the more intelligent people have a power rack.

The reason I wanted this and not a power rack was this doesn't take as much space since I don't have much room to workout
I was looking for a cheap cage on craigslist in Dallas but I haven't found one yet so I'm looking

    http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/spo/2113146940.html $275

    http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/spo/2088456982.html $300

couple older ads, but have you tried contacting them?

power rack/cage doesn't take up much room. mine is about 4'w x4'd x7'h. at least go with a half rack. something sturdy with adjustable spotter arms. the 360 is not sturdy. maybe decent for body weight but i wouldn't trust it to hold 200lbs.

I was at dicksportinggoods about a month ago, and I am sorry but that thing is complete crap. The only thing I could think of when looking at it was that some idiot is going to end up dying in some horrible squating accident. It has a very weak structure, and would likely be wobbly if you did pull-ups on it. I wanted to laugh when I saw that the sticker price indicated it was $800! The $300 they are selling it for is far overpriced. You would better served buying a new powerline rack, or TDS rack for that money.
