ive been training for like four months now. i have tried many things to maximize my muscle gains, thats my goal. Though i have seen somewhat improvement, its not really that much. well the first month i gained like 16 ponds because i started eating like a freak but then, when i realized i was gaining to much fat, i lowered my caloric intake, since then my weight has been steady in like 147-150 pounds (im 5"6').
the thing is, i have increased strengh like crazy!! and i have more definition. But my muscles always seem the same no matter what! other super bigger than me guys lift mockingly the half of what im lifting and they are as if there about to die! wtf!?!? sometimes i even feel like my biceps shrink. it has only grown like an inch from when i started , and i think its due to creatine.
i have changed diet eating very clean. i just started eating some dirty to see if it was just that im not getting enough calories but then again, i dont want to keep gaining fat. i drink my protien shake, limit cardio, treid some suplements.
this is really getting to me . the other day i was shocked when i saw this skinny puny guy who looked like it was the first time he had ever been in a gym, dumbell benching 60lbs in each hand like it was nothing!! i mean his arms didint even look like they could support the half of that. and then he even INCREASED THE WEIGHT!!!
will i be stucked forever like that guy? help plizzz!!!!!!!!

bout to put some science up in here:
when you first begin training, initial strength increases are due to neural adaptations. this period can be as short as 6 weeks or as long as 6 months, but the average is about 3 months. after the period of neural adaptation is done, strength increases from that point on come from actual muscle hypertrophy. so, what's happening with you is 100% normal, and you should be starting to put on some mass pretty soon.

Thats true, i agree with that post, as most of the op's strength gain is most likely extreme nueral adaptions in relation to the exercises hes performing and better/different form(kinda the same thing).
What i mean by that is when you first started lifting, you may have been shaking on the bench press, and not moving the bar in the shortest/most efficient path, but after a little training, your body "gets used to" the exercise, and becomes more efficient( not shaking, moving the bar straight up, et cetera), allowing him to use more weight, not neccecarily more nueral pathways, as in the OP recruiting a greater % of muscle fibre during a maximal lift

Be consistent with your workouts and nutrition, keep working at getting stronger each training session, you will see changes! It doesn't happen over night, focus on getting your strength through the roof and you will get big. I have never seen anyone who can bench press 400 pounds than doesn't have thick arms and chest.
