i was guessing a pound a week. 7 month and a half but someone said u cant gain moe than 10 pound a year and other person say u can do it in couple of months.so i wanna ask u guys anyone here gain that much muscle how long did it take

my brother took under 6 months to get a little leaner and put on 40Lbs(so way more than you are looking for)
he did a high intensity routine basically 2 lifts per part for one heavy set hitting each part twice per week(so 4 total weekly sets per part)
he also was running often and doing offseason wrestling training
for diet i told him to eat a certain amount of meat(usually about 3Lbs) every day and after that eat when he was hungry and whatever he wanted...luckily what he wanted was more meat like subs or burgers lol
this was from newbie(to lifting) status and he was already a good athlete from wrestling
however there is no way to know how long it will take you...just pick a good routine like the simple power based program(if you search on here you can find it) written by iron addict and make sure to eat plenty to growhttp://www.missingkids.com/cybertip/
