My baby girl is an All-American

I tried to hijack NorwichGrad's thread on his kid, but I thought I should do my own.

My daughter, E, shown lifting below, just finished on the podium at NCAA D3 Nationals, earning All American honors. Her identical twin sister, A, also competed at nationals and did well but didn't place as high.

So proud of them. Their brother was a D1 All-American in the decathlon, but he's a freak of nature. These girls have had to work for everything. E especially has been so driven and focused.

My daughter started trap bar deadlifting last summer. Video below is her doing 245 at the beginning of summer. She's currently doing in the mid 300s. She sent me a video last month but I can't find it. I don't know how much she can real deadlift. She's a college swimmer, they call lifting part of "dry lands".

Just an update on her college swimming:

She was named her conference swimmer of the year, breaking a couple records. She and her identical twin sister both qualified for D3 Nationals and will be competing there next week.

Damn straight it deserves its own thread. Your daughter has done very well and congrats to her, mid 300’s is an awesome trap bar dead. You go girl. Your other daughter has done great as well, these are accomplishments many can only dream of.

I recall seeing pics and you mentioning your son before, he’s a beast. A decathlon is no joke. You have some very athletic people in your family Gabbar and they have made some major accomplishments, you have every right to be proud of them. Congrats to all, it takes a lot of support, hard work and discipline to reach these levels.

I have a niece that swims for Duke University. It's basically her whole life/existence.
