Just came up with a pretty unique idea guys...I haven't seen anybody else use this technique for getting psyched up, so I think this will really get you guys motivated. Ok.
look in the mirror, and prepare to be brutally honest with yourself. and ask yourself the following questions.
1: Have I done everything I can to work towards my goals today?
2: Did I rationalize or justify to myself any slacking off?
3: If I haven't done everything I can to work towards my goal, or I did slack off, what can I do to change it tomorrow?
4: Am I comfortable with having cybersex with a man? What if that man wanted me to play the submissive role and send him nude tied up pics?
5: If the answer is yes, send me a pm.
6: Have I been paying attention to my goals in the gym, and in the kitchen?
7: If not what can I do to change that tomorrow?
ITS ALL ABOUT HOW BAD YOU WANT IT BOYS! DO WORK!

Tis a marathon
NOT
A
SPRINT
Son, you need to put in your work, and let time play its part, quit being so greedy. You are going to need lots of time before noticable changes are seen.
Just let the woosh affects play their part, and give or taken monthly pictures you will NOTICE the difference
Everyday is another step closer.

The good, the bad and the really bad!
I am down to 41.5 inches from 52 inches in september...Goal is to be 34-36 inches by my birthday on April 25th 2009!
That is the good
I have lost no weight this week! That sucks...but pushing forward.
That is the bad!
In september the wife and I took measurements together! I was 52 and she was about 37 1/2... Now I am 41.5 inches and she is 40 inches! She was upset and crying....
That is the really badMy journal:

I have personal experience with something like this...my girlfriend feels like she has to look attractive for me, or feels that shes gotten too out of shape, and I just told her that if she wants to change, I'm here for her, but that I still love her. Tell her the same thing we've been telling you...its a marathon and change will come with persistence. If she has the right kind of personality, she can even use that as motivation to push herself that much harder, but always with you supporting her the whole way.

oh...I know the joys of the last one all too well. That's why I stopped measuring and weighing with the wife. When she realized at one point in life she was a bit bigger than me, I had no sex for a couple of weeks. Sucked.
In any case, dude I hope you realize how good you are doing! Your lifting stats are awesome too. Just keep at it. This time next year you'll be so happy with your changes.Blessed with a good education (MSW), a wonderful wife and with the joys of being a foster parent for special needs kids.

Man, you can do this, look how far you've come, you chopped 10 1/2" from waistline, that is a tremendous accomplishment all on it's own. Think back to when you lost the first few inches. Think of the momentum it spurred in you to lose the next few inches.
Become your own fire, you can rise from the ashes and be the real you!"If I let you, you would make me destroy myself. But in order to survive you, I must first survive myself. I can sink no further and I cannot forgive you. There's no choice but to confront you, to engage you, to erase you."

Man keep in mind how heavy the weights are your lifting right now and how hard your working. You body uses water to transport nutrients to growing muscles. So the measurements are prob a much more accurate tool cause your body is holding water so it can help you grow da muscle from all the hard work.
This is the reason I have switched to only weighing in once a month cause the once a week was crazy at my size. Keep up the great work bro.Next stop 250 lbs both my weight and lost 😁

I should have been back to the gym already but feeling a bit tired! So stayed in bed with the wife! I will be leaving soon
Bro done that already but the wife have self esteem issues and the weight gained has not helped!
My wife had low self esteem when I met her at 122 lbs...so now at about 212-215...it kinda have gotten worse!
And her mother does not help one bite..she is about 50 something but weights 121 lbs! Been skinny all her life and god, there is no bigger humiliation to her that her only child is overweight!
I blame her for my wife weight issues!
Thanks bro, I am got to keep moving forward there is no way around it!
Thanks, not stopping anytime soon!
Thanks!
Thank you! Appreciate the support! My journal:

i had a friend who had the same situation with his wife...he ended up gaining weight just to make her feel better and to be "unhappy with her" to try to make things better....of course...it just made things worse.
I'm not saying you're going to do this...I'm just sharing a friend's experience.
What he learned was that other people's feelings are THEIR responsibility not his, all you can do is be the best person you can be and be a good communicator, be understanding, and be supportive...but THEY have to make the change, their own happiness is in their hands, no one elses...when you said you blame your mother in law for her weight problem...think about what that means....that means your wife doesn't have the power to overcome it, because its caused by someone else....ITS NOT TRUE! And not because I am trying to blame your wife, but because if it is true, then she can't change! Then she can't improve! To improve and change she has to OWN her own life and situation to be able to change it!Last edited by Quelly; 01-11-2009 at 02:31 PM.

Hey bro,
you know how mad you are right now cause you cant lift legs.
Take what your feeling, remember the feeling, and use that fuel and add it to the fire when you get under the bar tomorrow.
When you stack on those plates, and you get ready to smash some squats, get that fire, and bring the thunder baby
Another day of fatloss in the books, tomorrow is just another step towards your LONG TERM GOAL.
DO WORK!
