There are a lot of threads that address this same issue...

It happened to me about 3 weeks ago using a barbell for bicep curls. A pain that runs from the wrist, down to almost the elbow. Right? In my case, i put too much strain on my wrist probably by going too wide on my barbell curl so my wrist was bending too far.

Anyway, you basically have to let it heal on it's own by not using it. If you're going to do curls then only use dumbbells so your wrist isn't forced into one direction. After 3 weeks my arm is still not totally healed but i can tell it's healing though.

    Hope this helps.

Could be a strain, i would wear a wrist wrap or a thing to keep your forearm/wrist protected for now. Take rest for like a week if pain doesn't go away then it could be just inflamation in the forearm (ive had this ) i would go to doc they will give you pills to take the inflamattion away =)

I just got over a similar injury.

My pain started from dumbbell curls. After doing lots of research what I got from it was most likely tendonitis. It got to a point where i could barely lift a toothbrush because the pain in the forearm was so bad.
I took some advice and did some light forearm workouts and that did aleviate some of the pain.

Basically what I was told was that my forearms weren't strong enough for the weight my biceps were trying to lift. Anyway, took me about a month and a half of rest to completely heal, but everyone heals differently.

    Hope you feel better soon!

    Good luck!
