    Started Keto Today, Question..

Started my keto diet today, and have just had breakfast, heres what breakfast was:

I know carbs are a little high, but is that ok, providing the daily total is uner about 30g?

By the way, Plain Natural Yoghurt + Vanilla + Stevia = Low Carb Heaven

Is the ideal ratio (to cut fat/maintain muscle) 65% fat cals/30% protein cals / 5% carb cals?

Let me know if I'm doing anything wrong, thanks!

why are you even consuming coconut water? I would just cut it out completely, along with the protein powder.

It has many health benefits.. But if the carbs are too high I'll cut it out.

What is the problem with protein powder? I added it in because it is cheaper than eating 6 eggs each morning.

Nothing is wrong with protein powder. Those two combined will help lower your carb ratio too, and 10 grams is acceptable. Even 20 grams, though it would depend on the person.

By the way is your coconut water coconut flavored water or does it have the MCTs?

MCTs are good right? I live near the beach so I get young green coconuts straight off the tree, so all good, except maybe the carbs a bit high?
