I've posted before about how so far I've lost about 70 lbs through exercise (weights) and dieting. I was eating about 1300-1500 calories a day and seemed like I was always hungry. Well, I was. Because after getting some great advice here, I realized that was too low. I'm shooting for around 1800 calories (I'm 188 5'8). I've also changed the things I'm eating. Lots less processed stuff and more chicken, egg whites, oatmeal, npb, veggies. The problem is, I'm having to struggle to get those calories in because I'm just not that hungry.
I'm wondering if my body got used to having too few calories and now I'm eating extra and it's trying to adapt? Should I be eating if I'm just not hungry or do I stick to my macros (1g protein/per lbm and .5 for fat)regardless?
I'm working out heavier so I just don't get it.

You should increase your cals slowly. 100 every week until you get to 1800. Even with this, you probably won't be too hungry. What really helped me up cals was milk, avocado, nuts, and pb. All high caloric foods that don't fill you up as much.
You'll get there....and then you'll be hungry at 1800 ."Ain't no party like a Scranton party cause a Scranton party don't stop."

Okay. That's what I've been doing. I'm up to a little over 1600 now.
Today I've had:
ON 100% whey shake with skim milk and 2T npb (YUM)
blueberry applesauce (no sugar added) and 1/4C almonds
Lunch: 1 large baked sweet potato and 3 1/2 grilled chicken tenders (but couldn't eat the last one)
Snack will be 1/4 C sunflower seeds
Dinner will be whole wheat pasta with lf spaghetti sauce and that last grilled chicken tender chopped up in it.
