My own Car was 135mph, Bike was 160mph, I drove a R32 powered Mk1 Golf Cab at 177mph about a year back though, that was quite scary as those cars are not heavy and the 3.2litre lump at the front made it very very front heavy!

160+mph in my 03 mustang cobra. speedometer only went up to 160 and i stayed on it for a good 10-15 seconds after that. probably around 170ish but im not to sure.

165mph on my 03 gsxr 750

130 on my 08 gsxr 1000 (only had it for about 3 weeks before putting it in storage for the winter)

Probably like 130-140 in my turbocharged pulsar.......... thats kilometres per hour btw haha I just haven't really found anywhere I can safely get it off the clock at 220+ and given I just got my license back 12 months ago I'm not in any hurry to lose it again!

Fastest I have ever been was in my buddy's 2004 Mystic Chrome SVT Cobra... It has a 3.4L Whipple Supercharger, on top of a forged 4.6L, and a T56 6-Speed. 170MPH on GPS.

Fastest I have ever driven would have to be my 1991 Fox Mustang. 347 Stroker motor with a ton of mods. Buried the speedo at 140.

those cooper S's are pokey i remember one come flying out of no where when i was cruising along at about 85 before, it was gone in no time. Might get the mrs one she got a fiesta ST and keeps 'borrowin' my cars as her st aint quick enough.. i think its a good little drive the fiesta, good laugh lol

125-130ish mph in Astra Coupe 2.2 Bertone, was its max and a slight decline or really nice flat road struggle to remember.

Bro's Hartge E39 M5 has been to 188mph though. He has a 2006 M5 now, those machines are ****ing incredible, the speed at which it accelerates with the flappy paddle gear changes is insane.

Averaged 250-260 on the speedo from Munich to Amsterdam in a rental M3. After 8 hours it feels like you're doing 60 and 60 feels like you're not moving. Mirin BMW though, that thing was still accelerating strong even at those speeds.
