Alcohol SD 40

Anyone use this? I'm thinking of using it for dissolving powders for oral consumptions (anavar & arimidex).

This paragraph makes me wonder whether it can be used for oral consumption

It says 90% alcohol solute then it says the alcohol solute used is 92% pure alcohol. Thus it means the product itself is 82.5% alcohol. That's 165 proof. Better than Bacardi 151 but still not as good as 190 proof. It might make do though.

no don't use pure 200 proof alcohol for oral consumption. A lot of the time it has Benzene in it (which is added to the alcohol during azeotropic distillation) which causes cancer.

That part in the description that says "Not USP" means it doesn't conform to United States Pharmacopeia standards, it's not fit for human consumption.

I would just use the Bacardi 151

oh also the line that say's "Specialty Denatured Alcohol" denatured means that something has been added to it that makes it poisonous.

do not use
get everclear 151 or if your state has it everclear 190

or theres a way to turn 151 into about a 195 proof if you wanna know ill type it up

Yep denatured ethanol contains methanol. Def do not use. Anything 80proof or higher works as a solvent for orals. Tho winny and var are insoluble

var is soluable 20mg/mL is 190 proof

stays in suspension whenever I make it. even in 200proof reagent ethanol. it has a 1:57 solubility in alcohol. so if yours fully dissolved.. it prob isnt pure

Nothing fit for human consumption. Acetone has a higher solub ility but that's nail polish remover lol
