Hello Misc. I frequent here every once in a while because I enjoy some of the threads. Most of all, I enjoy the threads that question existence, life, death, god, religion, etc... I wanted to create a thread with the hope to answer questions on spirituality, life/death, and god with my own unique slant on them.
I am no better or worst than you, I'm simply an equal teaching and learning with you just as you are learning and teaching with me. All words that I write are merely neutral in their presence and you can take or leave whatever you read as truth or not - simply use your own inner intuition to decide what you feel is right.
I am expecting the entire spectrum of replies from true questions from the heart all the way to scolding and teasing.
Here's your chance; do you have a question?

I tried meditating once.
I thought about how my sisters and parents would react if they walked in on me meditating. I couldn't stop laughing. It was uncontrollable laughter. I'm smiling thinking about it.
What are good ways to stop the laughter? And what are your thoughts on meditation, do you do it?

I consider myself to be a just like you. A student and a teacher. To consider one more or less spiritual is merely distortion as all entities question the metaphysical or the 'unknown' and thus all entities have their own special perspective of spirituality even if they do not consider themselves spiritualistic.

Meditation is a foundation to the path of the adept and the seeker.
The usage of meditation for 'stilling' the mind is very significant. Next time you meditate, let the ripples (thoughts) on the pond that is your mind be still and you will 'see' - feel - that there is something there, that is always there. What is it?

Nothing. Unconditional Love is paramount to awakening to the deep truth that is the very core of your being.
There shall not be any 'outside' proof. That is the point, you must find your truth that is always there within you. Yet, very few bother to 'look'.
To measure reality with the tools of the illusion is quite difficult.

OP is legit. I consider myself spiritual (even though as he already said its merely a term to point toward exploring your being. The minute you make a concept, or identify with being "spiritual" is the exact opposite)
All of op's words make sense to me. Listen to him brahs.Traditional Wetshaver Crew

Jesus of Nazareth was not 'the Christ' or savior in the sense that is portrayed in religious texts such as the Biblical literature. He incarnated here to teach Unconditional Love and in effect he did quite well.
Only when the truth that he had gave in parables and actions was used to create a religious dogma that seeked to control by using the core of truth did he become what he is seen as today.
Read the works of the bible with your heart and take what feels 'right' and 'true' and leave the rest behind. You will find those things that offer fear in literature are those things that are for the concept of control. All things have a core of truth but they are drowning in a sea of perversions - those who use their intuition will see the fruits in the thorns.
There is a 'Christ' consciousness that exists.
All words and concepts are distortions of the Original Thought - even spirituality.
Ask yourself.

Wtf is goin on with this sleep paralysis?
I wake up to shadow creatures doing shyt (usually not actually touching me)
Sometimes I can move until one of them starts some bullshyt and then I'm paralyzed.
I could wake up, roll over, see something come at me and stand right in front of me for a while.
What is this, I don't even.
He see shadow things from child.
