Santa, I Need More Weight for Christmas!!
My current collection of weights is a combo of the DP plastic weights and some old hand-me-down iron plates.
Guess what?? I have maxed out my squat and deadlifts using the every single plate I own!
Now I am squatting 5 sets of 12 reps with 185 pounds, without breaking a sweat! I know I could lift way more, but the lawnmower is too bulky to squat!
So Santa please bring me about another 100 lbs of iron. I need to lift more, more, more!!
Ho! Ho! Ho!

That depends on if you've been naughty or nice.

I have more plates then I could ever lift, but my dumbell collection is lacking. My gift to myself for the holidays is going to be a set of 100lb. DBs.....and some new gloves. Good luck with the Santa letter....hope you've been good.

You should stop lifting for a year, then those weights will be enough again.

exercise bike for me. The elliptical and tread make me nervous with one hand out of commission. I am good on plates and had needed more dbs ( currently to 70) though think I will be awhile to get back. I cannot imagine holding a db with my right hand right now. Range of motion exercises bring curse words to the fore right now.

Craiglist is the best place to find cheap cheap weights, especially in this economy.
