THe WHEEL DEAL.I want to know your 'tips and tricks' to build Teardrop Quads

Hi guys. Been squatting in the power cage for quite sometime and I notice my quads and sartorius muscles respond well to them. Thing is , I 've been training my legs once a week at 3-4 sets of 5-7 reps. I've hit the wall at 150lbs now. I fear my middle back will collapse .lol. What Should I do? Focus on back training?Kthanks guys. Will check and respond later.

You mean you've hit the wall at squatting 150? How much do you weight? Try other leg exercises like leg presses or curls. If you've been doing squats for a couple months you should definitely be able to squat more than 150. My squat goes up nearly every week and I only do legs once a week as well.

Focus on deadlifts to build-up your lower back strength. Start light to ensure proper form- this is very important! Utilize hack squats and lunges to really activate your quads (for the tear drop). Lastly, you should perform a higher volume of sets, perhaps 6-10 sets overall. Good luck!

Deadlifts and squats kind of go hand in hand for me. When I increase on one it helps with the other.

Hack squats are great for getting that tear drop. I really feel it right in the tear shape.

Point your toes out on leg extensions. Try putting your feet close together about mid way up the platform on leg press.
