Tweaking a bulk, or in other words...
...Do I have any idea of what I'm doing?
Okay, story time first. Got my leanest ever this past summer at 190 pounds, I had a 4-pack! Sort of. But how lean I was didn't matter because I was 190 pounds at 6'3. Embarrassing, I know.
I started bulking on November 1st, my first bulk ever. I just started Max-OT two weeks ago as well. Since November 1st, I've put on 17 pounds (raw weight 207 first thing in the morning, can go up to 212 throughout the day). Weights have gone up very rapidly and I do generally feel much stronger and yes, a bit bigger. I'm taking creatine every day as well so I know a good bit of the 17 pounds is just water.
I guess my question is, am I gaining too fast? This is my first bulk ever so I'll admit I don't quite know how this whole thing works. I'm taking in 4 scoops of whey/day in addition to the protein I get from whole foods. On an average day I'll total to around 150g/pro, and on a good day I'll go over 200. Money doesn't allow for more, sorry folks. The rest comes from carbs and a lot of fat. If I were to guesstimate my caloric intake for most days I'd say it's around 3,5kcals.
Any help? Suggestions? Facepalm pictures or such?
