Sub-q vs. IM absorption time
How long does it take for something to be fully absorbed if administered sub-q? How long does it take for something to be fully absorbed if administered IM?

That depends what you're injecting. Long ester, short ester, no ester, vitamins... As drummer said though, sub q takes longer than IM.

The blood supply to subcutaneous tissue is poor thus making absorption much slower. Blood supply to the muscle tissue is very high and will therefore give a much faster rate of absorption than subcutaneous tissue. Injectable steroid half-lives are based off IM injection absorption rates rather than subcutaneous. Injecting steroids subcutaneously will probably slow the absorption rate of them, and it will take longer for one's body to fully metabolize the substance.

If its oil based and you pin it sub q....absorption rate will be the least of your probs. The only thing id recommend pinning sub q is peptides and such. When it comes to that, youre talking a difference between minutes and hours basically. Depends on how you want and need to use them all in all
A good example would be something like Slin, pinning it twice in a day you'd want to go IM PWO to get it in there quickly

Absorption rate for peptides administered sub-q is hours? I didn't know it was that long.

well, maybe shoulda been more specific...TOTAL absorption time yes, and I'm mainly taking about GH and Slin from my experiences. Don't see why it would be much diff for many others though

I always wonder if you had to go on a trip for 2 weeks and can't inject while away, could you inject oil based test e sub-q to keep the test longer in the bloodstream?

There are several HRT docs that are recommending sub-q injections of test now.
(Obviously, we are talking about HRT doses and not on-cycle doses. Don't want to look like a camel with 3 cc humps under your skin.)

all anabolics should be IM including wuite a few peptides.
really no reason to shoot anything sub-q with a few exceptions imo.

Just get your hands on something that lasts longer, undecl or somethin.
I wouldnt advise shooting over a cc subq.
