WNPF meet in New Jersey last weekend. I totalled 1150 in the 181 class and finished in 2nd Place. It was a really fun day, had a lot of support from my training partners and saw some big benching. My plan is to total 1200 in April in the same weight class and then jump up to the 198's.
(PS- look at the depth on my 1st attempt with 405, they called it high. I was planning on taking 420 on the 3rd but decided to play it safe)

and why does everyones gym BUT MINE have monolifts
Mine does not, but I see them as being a little on the dangerous side simply because you do not have to walk the weight out at all. I'm sure I'll have people disagreeing, but walking out the weight definitely takes control. I know squatting it does as well, but I know a few guys who squat quite a bit more using a monolift as opposed to stands and having to step back.
OP: Awesome meet and I agree with most others in being confused about why you were called for depth on the 405 squat!

1st off, great job!
You are using a monolift so why are you changing your stance after you unrack the bar? Work on getting exactly where you need to be before unracking, wastes alot of energy. Also work on keeping your chest out, you are almost doing gm's with the weight.
I cringed when I watched your deadlift. I too roll the bar into me but my arms are locked. You are a bicep tear waiting to happen. Keep the triceps flexed to ensure your elbows are locked. Work on a smooth start to the pull instead of the jerking you do.
Just a couple little technique things to work on, seems like you are doing a great job on the "getting strong" part.

Awesome meet Ballys. Your squat seems to be the lift that has improved the most since ur last meet. I know u've already said your deadlift has lost some progress but I can't remember. Did you ever hit that 500 pull in the gym a while back? I thought you did but just couldn't remember. Anywho, Congrats!
