Well look at it this way.

Sugar and salt are two of the most abundant ingredients in processed foods and crappy foods. If you reduce consumption of those, you will most likely be eating more leaner foods, fruits and vegetables. With that in mind, these type of foods are more denser (generalize with me) and will fill you up, making you want to eat less.

I am a nutrition major and she basically just told you in practical terms how to lose weight. Figure out your caloric needs, consume a high intake of protein to maintain muscle mass, then create a deficit of calories from there. Keep this up, keep it consistent and workout routinely. You will lose weight.

Burn more calories than you take in and eat healthy foods. Thats pretty much the bottom line. If you take in more calories than you use, you won't lose weight.

    keto = **** diet.

you look like **** cause your skin tone goes to hell, you get tired/lethargic as well

try standard dieting (high protein, med carbs, med fat) and then switch to carb cycling (which is 3 days switching from low to medium to high carbs)

my skin is pasty white, my complexion sucks, i constantly have a salty taste in my mouth, i have a little less energy that usual (caffine helps). is that normal or some odd side effects?

so your saying to bump the carbs up throughout the week? or go low, med, high, low, med, high?

try fitting your biceps on back days. check out my profile for a basic workout routine. with that extra free day do cardio only. i like to have a least one day off and cardio on the two non workout days. some weeks depending on how i feel ill take more than one day a week off. its all about learning your body and what works best for you.

Try to count calories and stick to low calorie diet. If you will intake 500 kcal less than BMR, then you will definitely loose weight.
Low calorie benefit is properly balanced food intake.

In a week you should start to see the difference, because 3500 kcal = 1 lb. If you will be drinking plenty of water, then in one week your scales will be showing something close to -1 lb.

Stay away from isolation exersises, try doing all multi-joint compound lifts, this will increase your RMR- Resting metabolic rate which will burn more calories for a longer period of time after a workout.

Examples: Deadlifts, Squats, Bench press, Incline press, Bent over rows, Pull- ups, Weighted Dips. All of these should hit every major muscle group.
    cbsxr800

Aim for the top. There is plenty of room there. There are so few at the top it is almost lonely there.

you need carbs, you dont wanna burn muscle, but take good carbs not refined carbs,
cycle carbs its your best and healthy option,
remember not everyday is the same, so you cant stick to the same amount everyday, some days you lazy, somedays you more active adjust you calorie intake,
and stay away from all processed foods,
and like its said above, dont take in anymore than you use, but not to low either, you will catabolise,
