Usually I won't go this route, but bro...That guy you think looks like a girl. That is Clement Yearwood, who is probably among the top three light weights in the world. Those guys standing next to him...Are the other top three, what happens at this level of competition is that nobody is leaps and bounds ahead of anyone. The fact that you think that you can jump in next to these guys, and wipe the floor with them is incorrect. Realistically, at your current level of development, you might be middle of the pack in a good amateur show. Don't take this as an insult, take it as me telling you that plenty of development awaits you.
I hate to be so hard on you, but Clement is one of the nicest, most humble down to earth guys. And honestly...not from this planet. His physique, and character are absurd.
Sorry about the ran guys, that just really rubbed me the wrong way.Last edited by FATHER FLEX; 10-25-2009 at 03:33 PM.

I have participated in them but these kind of threads are wastes of time. All anyone can do is speculate and rationalize and argue. Noone can say for sure of anything except for the individuals in question themselves.

You are right...but it's just frustrating because what do guys have to do to get the benefit of the doubt? Apparently passing a Urinalysis AND a Polygraph test EVERY single time they compete isn't enough to get the benefit of the doubt? I guess the only thing they can do to be given the benefit of the doubt is not be as good as they are???
AND then the part that's even more annoying is when people who give them the benefit of the doubt are insulted as being stupid and naive, when we're the ones who are actually going off the facts that have been presented rather than making assumptions, then saying we MUST be right.

If I really thought jim cordova's size was unattainable naturally, I'd probably stop bodybuilding all together.

Well some guys look fukking nuts. Those guys will always be questioned. I don't think anyone except for those who do so know how hard or easy it is to beat those kind of tests, maybe its really easy, I'm sure a lot of olympic athletes beat drug tests by timing their "stuff" right to be in and out of their systems. Same goes for NFL ect.
One can only make assumptions about what someone else does or does not do with their body.
Giving someone the benefit of the doubt, can be difficult, when a lot of the sport is filled with people who lie. In both professionals and recreational lifters a great deal of them do not admit to drug use because of the negative attention that derives from it.Spike92 is 15.

One day...One day I will be among the elite.
And you know what, I can assure you it will be like my other preps. Pop-tarts and hard work. I look at pictures of those guys and as impressive as they are, I don't question the means, rather I tell myself...Why not me.100% Natural Bodybuilding!

As a tall Natural bodybuilder I understand what you mean but you can't really tell how those 3 guys look in person based on stage pictures from the WNBF worlds. Those light are terrible and show conditioning more than anything...if you saw them in natural light you would not say give you death...
Perhaps you are arrogant but I think you are just misinformed...here is a picture of Brian Whitacre...the one in the middle....now perhaps you can take back what you said...

These guys certainly look amazing regardless of whether they use anabolic steroids or not. I know many people that do use and never reach that size or level of conditioning. These guys are certainly an inspiration to me.
Along the same lines, I'm curious for people that are more familiar with the various Natural Bodybuilding organizations and competitors...
Has there been a decrease in size/weight/development of the top naturals since various organizations banned pro-hormones (I know certain orgs. allowed their use)? How would the guys of today not using these substances (i.e. Cordova) hold up against the physiques of competitors when they could use pro-hormones? Are there any guys that used them and have been forced to stop that have lost size?
