my weekly plan is:
monday- back and abs
tuesday- arms
wed- off
thurs - chest and abs
fri- legs
sat- shoulders
*most days consists of 4 excercises per body part and 3-4 sets of 6-10 reps
many people have criticized my routine forr having separate days for each body part. what do you think? any suggestions? my main goal is to get more cut/lean body mass

Where is your cardio and how much do you do? If you're a big dude you can remember you don't always have to lift heavy weights. Might make you feel more manly but if you're looking for the slim/cut look you can do a lot of body weight exercises.
I'm a little biased here but you can take up martial arts! Find a good school and that could be a major part.
Also remember the lower your body fat percentage, the more cut you look (and are).
I really don't like to tell people what to do... If it were me, I would condense Some of your workouts to something like:
Mon - Back / Bicep / Abs
Tuesday - Cardio (running, elliptical, soccer, whatever gets you moving)
Wednesday - Chest / Tricep / Shoulder / Abs
Thursday - Cardio
Friday - Back / Legs / Abs
Saturday - Cardio or day off
Sunday - Cardio or day off
I like to include a lot of stretching routines in my workouts too. I usually will do yoga once a week.Dramatically Increase your Physical Fitness, Mental Clarity, and Energy Levels with Green Monster! www.greenmonsteronline.com

I don't lift like ^^that^^ anymore...
Just lifting because I love it and trying to lead by example with my 3 elite athlete kids; Amanda on the Varsity Dance Team, Zack playing lacrosse on an elite level and starring on our 8th grade football team and fast becoming a golf prodigy and Kitty excelling at the grade school level on the track, soccer field and basketball court.
