I'm new to Ebay, reps for some tips on bidding
I am lookin to buy some high end cymbals and the current price is pretty cheap, very cheap for these actually. Problem is there is like 2 days left on the auction.
Now the question I really have is, do people sit around and wait for the auction to reach 30 min then bid like crazy, or I am pretty safe putting a max bid in and forgetting about it for the weekend?
Just looking to hear some stories you all might have.

There are programs that will bid at the very last second called Snipers.

Don't bother bidding on anything unless its under a minute left, snipers will come in and take the win.

Check for history on the item that you're looking at buying and it will give you an idea what you can snag it for. It should be an option on the left for "Auctions that have ended".
Helps a lot!
Also if you see something that you like, and it appears that the seller has MORE, get in touch with them via email. Often times they will be willing to sell it to you for the same price or cheaper!

Also, bid a tad more than just the next increment. It will bid the next increment for you but if someone else bids it will keep bidding for you until you reach the max bid you wanted for the item

for max bid you should put the most your willing to pay and still have a good deal, it works but then sometimes some f*ck will out bid you by 3 bucks in the last minute.
