LIL help for a fisherman

Hello. I am A lobster fisherman and my job takes alot out of ya. This is what I eat on A day I do Not work,Just weight train. I am just getting into tracking my food again and am very rusty lol. I am 6'1 and 205lbs

Calories 2520 Carbs (308.6g)46% Protein (236.2g) 36% Fat (52.3g)18%

These numbers come from

oats, wheet bread, turkey.peanut butter, milled flax seed,Skim Milk,Cottage cheese,Fat free singles, yogurt, protein powder,Berries,Black beans,A High Protein Boost, So that is where the calories come from. I need to know what changes are needed. I am not bulking or cutting I just need to know where to go from here. If I wanted to kinda clean bulk what changes would I make? How about a real slow cut? Thx alot Dale
p.s I tend to eat alot of lobster and grab lol

those are all great food choices. depending on your activity level and exercise and blah blah, for a clean bulk or slow cut you'd just have to go over/under your daily maintenance level for calories, nothing too crazy.

in lieu of reps i'll take some lobster

Just curious - how do you get a higher percentage of carbs? You must be eating a lot of bread, oats, or beans to match the protein. I'd reduce the carbs a little personally. Add some almonds, you already have the peanut butter. Or spoons of coconut oil Those are all very healthy foods you've described though.

I'm roughly your same exact size - same height and my weight fluctuates around yours. Everyone is different but for me 2500 calories like you described would be maintenance for me. If I wanted to cut I would have to drop down to 2000, it's hard for me to lose fat. 3000 would be bulking. I am the opposite of a hard gainer, anything I eat, I grow - fat or muscle depending on if I'm working out or not... lol

PS Cool job, how do you like it? It's not as dangerous as the Alaskan King Crab fisherman is it? lol

I am eating alotta oats. 4 small slices of bread and a cup off beans. I gain easy as well Fat or muscle. Do you guys think I need more fat? I got 1 vote for less carbs.

LOBSTER: Lobster fishing is very dangerous. It depends on who you work for too and how far you go out. We are scaled down from the crab fisherman. They have bigger boat and larger seas. We have smaller boat and smaller seas. I am on a 38 foot boat and it is damm scary at ten foot seas. You get thrashed around like your in a washing machine. The real danger of lobstering is getting wrapped in a rope. You walk on the rope from the traps you just hauled. 4 traps get reset at a time. There is rope everywhere. You push the first trap while traveling 10knotts or so and have just a couple seconds to get to the next trap and push that at the rite moment or the first trap that you pushed will drag the second trap into the 3rd and then the forth and then **** is going bad fast But there is alot to watch and during this process you miss the location of the section of rope your looking for and it will wrap around your ankle. I have ben through this A number of times. It wraps around your ankle and before you can blink your on your back getting dragged to the stern fast. Then up over the rail and into the water with the weight of 4 traps pulling you to bottom. You must cut the rope and cut it fast And its like crabbin. You go over in the winter and your prob gunna die. I would like to crab fish to really answer your question. I would guess on a scale of one to 10 I would say crabbin is a 10 ang lobstering is an 8. oh yeah lobster isnt worth much here. we are getting 2.25 a lb

Damn that's crazy... Don't mean to jack your thread but thanks for describing it... very interesting I'm surprised they pay that low for lobster, in the store it's so expensive. From what I heard the crabbers get paid top dollar, but I guess you'd have to move to Alaska for that. Good luck with everything whatever you do!
