    gyno surgery recovery

I'm getting gyno surgery, and I intend to cut at the same time, cause I can't lift weights for weeks after, what do you guys recommend I do in terms of working out to maintain my muscle mass?

I already have a diet in mind, I'll eat about 1.5g-lb of protein per pound. I'll monitor my cut like any other cut, just working out is different.

What else can I do besides just body weight circuit training?

I explain to my patients that Recovery After Gynecomastia Surgery is like healing a sprain. I am not causing a muscle injury, but the healing is parallel. In bodybuilding: no pain no gain. In healing, ignore the pain and you may lose the gain. Trying to maintain muscles during recovery can slow the healing process.

    Hope this helps,

How long do you suggest before a patient starts lifting weights again?

How long after a sprain can you resume activities? There is no correct answer, it varies depending on many factors. I suggest to my patients, just like with a sprain, work into the activities letting comfort be a guide to what they can do.
    Hope this helps,
