i do not think its essential. mostly for good fats i just eat some pb and have no problem putting on weight and/or muscle mass. i dont find a diff in natty pb compared to reg. they both have the same amount of fat and saturated last time i checked.
completely agree with u. i only went up and down 5lbs or so for over a year and now im gaining weight like im on roids without taking in much efa's at all
at one time on this board it was a sin if you didn't take fishoil, so i jumped on the bandwagon and the whole time i was going in circles getting no where.
i will agree it does help dramatically for lubing joints, because when i came off my joints started popping again but i didn't gain any size to brag about. i may try this flaxseed because most ppl say it doesn't work as well, but if you look at the stats when ppl says something doesn't work it sometimes works better than what's being talked about.
