Vertical Jump Bible Results
If anyone has done the vertical jump bible I would like to know your results. Not only your vertical jump increase, but if you did the strength program (for the vertical jump bible) I would like to know your increases.Ex: squat, bench press, and deadlift.
I have the vertical jump bible and I might use it for getting faster and stronger in football. I'm just not sure if his strength program is the best.

Hey You Guuuys!!!
I can't really give you a precise list of results, because I dropped a ton of weight when I started the VJB. I started at around a high 270 something when I began the VJB. I went from a 4.89 and a mid 20 vert to 35 inches and around a 4.5-4.6 40 (varies for ET) at a weight of 220. I did various strength programs at the time, and never really did the VJB strength program.

Ok thanks.
Do you think I should do VJB strength program, or Bill Starr's 5x5, WS4SB etc.?

Aaron
I think more people tend to just do the plyos and do another strength routine, and still get good results. Never really finished more then one phase though in the VJB.

So should I use the VJB strength routine or a different one, for the best results?

Football. I play RB and LB but I don't know if I will as a freshman. (I don't know if I will be good enough)

i dunno i believe (I read vjb a while ago) that the strength program isnt as oriented for football (more so just to jump high and run faster which would help but as for upper body strength)... id probably do defrancos wsfsb III with the plyos or fullback has a great program... id read it he incorperate vjb into it already so go through it

also read this he answers some more questions...

you could do his lower body program (stretching included but Id avoid taking any supps except a multi and a protein shake) and then wsfsb Upper Body rep effort and max effort and then VJB as he suggests
anyway just some sugestions

Thanks.

Yeah, I'm doing Rippetoes. It's modified due to lack of bench and power rack.
