Are Fat Burner Safe For TEENS?

All nutritional supplements carry a label that says "Should not be used if under 18" however Multi-Vitamins such as Animal Pak are proven safe for those under the age limit.

How about Fat Burners? Is it safe to take while in your teens?

its not....but imo don't even bother unless you got an unlimited purse from your parents. they're not worth it. money would be better spent on bcaa, protein, creatine, zma, etc etc list goes on of whats better

Price isn't so much as a factor. How about fat burners like Lipo-6 or Animal Cuts, I'm assuming they aren't "too extreme" and should generally be safe for a teen?

I know a doctor would be the best to ask, but their responses always seem to go on the "you shouldn't be taking anything at your age, you should naturally be getting enough exercise".

I wanted to mix in a fat burner and creatine supplement so I can maintain/slightly raise my muscle while burning fat at the same time b/c I don't really want to lose fat & muscle at the same time so I would figure weight-training and taking a creatine supplement should off-set some of that abuse.

ok if your parents are buying it, go for it. if they sell it in gnc it shouldn't even be put in the same sentence as extreme or unsafe. EXCEPT FOR CELL - TECH

look all fat burners have alot of caffeine, and any other sub ingreients a company wants to throw in that are usually some sort of stimulant...When your young like 18 and under your metabolism is usually pretty high, but then again some don't fit that mold so a fat burner may be used. Stick to a solid product like lipo 6 or a product that induces fat burning like CLA....Don't go over the top with like 3 diff. kinds of products just keep it simple....as always DIET is the key.

Yeah. I agree right now I only basically use Animal Pak and occasionally Animal Pump, I wanted to throw in a fat burner because I'm going to cut, I wanted to preserve muscle while doing so (which is why I was going to keep Animal Pump).

Now I guess all I need to know is what is a good, safe fat burner. I've heard about Lipo 6 so I'm taking it as it's reputable? I was also thinking about Animal Cuts just so I could have all their products

They do that for legal reasons. If a kid had some sort of medical problem develop whilst on a supplement, the blame would be placed on the manufacturer, whether or not they / their supplement was to blame.

You don't really need fat burners but most are safe. They do however have a high caffeine content. I'd avoid ones with any sort of yohimbe, synephrine or ephedra (in the unlikely event that you found an ephedra fat burner) just to be safe.

There not bad as long as u keep eating with them. Like dont starve ureself thinking it will help u lose weight u will be so f*cking ureself over. I no from experience. I went from 160 to 135 in two months for wrestling. I was tired all the time and pushed no weight at the gym. If u do them then follow strict guidelines and take less than the recommended dose working up to that then cycling off them.

ephedrine is probably the best weight loss supplement but you can get it online with a license #, at least 18 years old,it is hard to acquire because the fda regulates how much it sells, but you can still buy it legally online,i would read up before taking ephedrine.I have never taken it but my cousin who is now 30 lost 50 lbs in 6 months using it and running 4x a week. You don't need supplements at all though, just eat less but often and small portions, maybe get some whey and thats it look at some cutting diets.
