You guys are all wrong.

The health problems assosiated with drinking are not calorie related but toxicity issues due to the alchohol.

Thus, the healthiest way to do it is to take in plenty of water while your at it.

The lightest, clearest beer is your best option.

EDIT: Actually, weed and a good night of sleep is your best option.

At the end of the day it really doesn't matter when drinking you may as well go for taste. It's like going to McDonalds and sticking to the healthy menu.. you may as well not bother.

Depends, are you just sipping and enjoying a nice beverage. If so go with wine, a glass or two is great for you. If you want to get a little loose go with vodka and soda water.

Whiskey. Neat. I like High West (they have a great 12 year). If you need ice, go at it.

Boilermakers & car bombs have their charm too.

If I'm not watching calories closely I drink beer - there's a great microbrewery up here that makes an amber ale I never get tired of.
