Sounds like me. I have a stashed bottle of top quality venezuelan rhum in the cupboards for when I feel like having something with a kick. I can't even look (let alone smell or taste) at a bottle of bacardi, captain morgan's, appleton's, etc. Similar experience with whisky...

I used to be a binger too, and I tried stopping altogether, but I love beer too much for that to happen... So I've learned to control the frequency with which social events leading to having no idea how I got home happen. It's not about quitting, it's about moderation.

Yeah, im trying to learn that too man. Its always ben an issue for me in the past, especially when i was in the service. I've been alot better with it over the past year though.

Nobody else observes that when people say that they binge eat a lot they are usually recommended to the eating disorder thread, but not the case with alcohol?
