Regarding college applications. I read that asian americans aren't considered minorites anymore, and im wondering if that just means chinese asians, or indians too

When I applied to college in the fall of 2006, Asian Americans were NOT considered minorities for college admission purposes. I am an Asian American (Indian American) and I remember distinctly that Asian Americans were not considered minorities when applying for colleges.
