Rehabbing going slow
I had wrist surgery in May and have been doing PT exercises since then. Its frustrating because I used to lift heavy wts with upper body and because of this I have to now use lighter wts....REALLY lighter wt. So Im losing a LOT of tone and size. My question is this: If I use heavier wt w/ lower reps on my good arm and lighter wt and higher reps with my bad arm will this be equal training. I dont want to be lopsided! If I use too much wt on the bad arm my tendons are on FIRE and I set myself back several days. Any advice? And yes, I do wear a wrist support

Don't train each side differently! Have patience and go through your PT properly. As your wrist heals and strengthens you'll be able to add on more weight and regain what you have lost. It is frustrating but it's temporary. Muscle memory is real. It won't take as long to get back to where you were as it took to get there in the first place.
