Expert Fantasy Owners only! need advice
im on a 4 game winning streak back from 2-7...at 6-7 im playing another 6-7 for the 4th spot in the playoffs(last spot). Everything looks good so far except for my wide receiver options
i have 4 good options..but im going to need all the points i can get...me and this guy have been the highest scorers for a couple weeks now.
First off I can use 3 WR's of my 4... but i dont know who to replace...
Hines Ward Vs DAL..
Isaac Bruce Vs NYJ..
Antonio Bryant Vs Carolina
my 4th is a critical pick i made 2 weeks ago, Domenick Hixon.. who is now replacing plaxico burress and now that its his 2nd week in, him and eli didnt do bad at all so they have even more of a chance of doing good this week.
signs point to antonio bryant because of carolina defense but he is jeff garcias primary receiver and so is isaac bruce to shaun hill..
hines ward im thinking is 100% in.. ben and him will connect against dallas. im sure of it.

Isaac Bruce doesnt catch enough balls to be considered a fantasy option, IMO.

Ward is in. He's Ben's go-to guy, period.
Since Shaun Hill has been in, Bruce has been targetted 17 times in 2 games, and produced nearly 200 yards and a pair of TDs. He's also 4th in receptions the last 2 weeks behind Andre Johnson, Anquan Boldin and Greg Jennings, and intrestingly enough, he's outscored all 3 of them in fantasy these last 2 weeks. Teams are stacking the box against SF to ensure Gore doesn't do his thing. Peyton Hillis is the only RB in the NFL to get more than 74 yards rushing in a game against the Jets, yet they've given up 100-yard games to Steve Breaston, Larry Fitz, Anquan Boldin, Dwayne Bowe, and Wes Welker, and have given up 75+ yards to Eddie Royal, Jabar Gafney and Javon Walker. The Jets have also given up 17 TDs passing. I'd play Bruce.
Carolina played Tampa tough in their first meeting, and Bryant only got 1/13/0. One would assume he'd get more targets this time around, but who knows. Warrick Dunn was outstanding against Carolina the first time around.
Domenik Hixon never had more than 4 targets in a game until he stepped up in week 12 for Plax. Since then, he's NYG's leading receiver for targets, receptions and yards. Phillie's tough, but they will have to play the run primarily, so that should help him out. I like Hixon also.

x2. I think he's been picked up (and dropped) by every team in my league.

Toomer for the Giants and Bess from the Dolphins are nice sleeper pick ups... Bess has a nice streak of matchups for the playoffs.

this was also before Garcia & Bryant started to connect. Although the Bucs like to throw to Hilliard & their TE's near the end zone. But I'd still go with him for yardage at least.

I agree with this. And Carolina's secondary is more vulnerable than the Eagles in my opinion. I know with Plax going down Hixon will get more balls thrown his way. But I think we'll see Amani Toomer benfit more from this then Hixon will. At best he'll catch 4-5 balls. Bryant, Bruce, and Ward all have the potential to do much better, especially with their match-ups.

I agree with Toomer being the #1 guy now. Hixon will get the longer balls however. I picked him up earlier in the season when Burress got suspended & he caught about an 80 yd TD for me. I dropped him the following week though.
I just have no faith in Bruce this year.

I started 1-5 and am now on a 7 game winning streak and in first place in my division.
I'm pretty psyched. I'm defending my championship from last year.
