    quadricep tendonitus

I have severe inflammation on the upper part of my kneecap which prevents me from doing just about everything.

from all i have read and understand, RICE seems to be the best solution.

My physical therapist wants me to exercise and stretch it as much as possible.
this makes it hurt worse though and goes against all I previously thought to do with tendonitus.

anyone think pushing me knee and working it would be better than complete rest?
