I have been having a slim jim everyday for my morning snack the past week. 150 cals 2 carbs high fat. Is it alright to have on keto? Would the high sodium keep me out of ketosis?

i think its alright.
the sodium just retains water. or well, thats what i have read in previous
threads. but it shouldnt affect your keto diet

AFAIK sodium can be the ketoers' friend, due to the diuretic effects of the keto diet extra salt can be taken in.

It's fine for an occasional snack, but I wouldn't eat it everyday. It'll turn into a "yuck" food very quckly.

I agree that Slim Jims taste good. I just prefer not to eat very many, nor to think much about what's in them as I'm eating them.

Haha, I don't buy 'em but I wouldn't have a problem eating them if they were around. Just a bit of a pain because they're low in protein.

slim jims (i'm pretty sure) have hydrogenated oils which = trans fat
