I pmd u my westside for baseball one but i read the message and its confusing as hell...
basically i agree use defrancos westside for skinny bastards 3 just take out barbell bench press and make sure you protect your shoulders.... im assuming your a position player correct? DB bench is alright....
i also recommend you training your grip heavily, especially if you are a position player. Itll make as big if not a bigger difference in your power at the plate as compared to what you do in the gym.

also read up on elitetrack.com if you want to gain speed like you had said... great site with great articles on form and their forum is top of the line, the answers you recieve there (although moreso related to track) are inpecable.

Find a good Medicine ball routine! These work core, explosiveness, and torque. This will improve both hitting and throwing power. Olympic lifts and plyometrics also increase power and athletic ability!

Left arm is suppose to be like that fyi ... but you don't see the contact point so can't really tell where the extension is. Also do not follow that a-rod nonsense article that was on here.

i agree with jgood, thats a good looking swing .. you want your right arm to be bent at the point of contact, it should only get to full extension after contact has been made. theres a good explanation of it at this link http://www.rightviewpro.com/how-rvp-works/motions where it shows u the steps (im not endorsing that video equipment or whatever it is my hitting coach showed me this website is all)
step 7 shows 4 of the top mlb hitters at the point of contact with a bent elbow.. step 8 shows how they are extended after contact, i dont think pujols or vlad are slap hitters

Just follow the basic strength lifts. You don't need a special program to hit the ball farther. You just have to be dedicated to your diet and workouts. Most guys I played with were to worried about drinking and other things. They didn't want to put in the effort when it came to the workout and nutrition. Just keep the intensity up!
It's tough to go to the gym after a five hour practice, but it's got to be done. Like LSF said, be carefull with bench press. It can definitely mess up your baseball career, trust me (3 shoulder surgeries)! Enjoy!

the Royals comment, this is a rookie league team or at spring training, thats a level that many guys dont make... Also, the swing is pretty solid.
But back to the workout, stick with working out the core.... Stick to the deadlifts, jerk press, power cleans, squats etc. You want explosive movement lifts... Theres a program you can buy called Unbreakable Abs, its real nice paired with other lifting. It is a great program.

I have to say that i strongly disagree with your last statement becasue you're supposed to hold the bat delicatly, or else you'de roll everything to teh SS. Although teh extra forearm strength will help
