Hey,
I am needing of desperate help and motivation. I am a 16 year old male. 5'6" and only a whopping 115 lbs. I am tired of being the smallest kid in my school and in my grade level. Can someone please give me some advice and help to get me motivated to go to the gym and start eating better. I want to learn it all because I personally would love to be a Physical Trainer when I get older. Please any advice will help.
P.S I have tried protein shakes and all but I can not seem to pack on any weight, I am a athletic student playing Lacrosse and Soccer.
Thank You for any advice!

One of the most important things to do is to get your diet in check. So find out your maintenance, and add around 250-500 calories to it. Also get in 0.8 - 1g of protein per pound of body weight... If you don't know how to figure out you're maintenance, check out this thread:

Do a Full Body routine , 3-4 times per week:
-Squat 3x5
-Bench Press 3x5
-Barbell Row 3x5
-Military Press 3x5
-Stiff Legged DL 3x5
-Curls 3x5-8
Add weight to an exercise whenever you complete all 3 sets with 5 reps (5 pounds is sufficient).
You can also look at SS, and its many variations.

Just want to add some motivation.
First you must set an attainable goal in your mind. Something you can think of when you go to sleep, something to keep in your mind always. It should be rather specific like "get a 6 pack" or something like that. If you keep thinking about something you want, you will achieve your goal, as long as you are committed.
Pulling a quote from Arnold: "The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision that fact you can do something, you CAN do it, as long as you really believe 100%."I got a vision for the life that's right in front of me
I got a right, I got a reason, got a destiny
I know exactly where I'm headed and I’m never looking back.

did not read post.
words of encouragement are great, but the best motivation comes from within. if you wish to reach whatever goals you have, you need to want it for yourself."But I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle ? victorious" - Vince Lombardi
