Thanks Athi. I got to 185# x 17 earlier this spring, but then switched routines.
Thanks Penney.
We had a great anniversary and yesterday was a fantastic day.
50 degrees when I woke up. I went out to my hunting lease and worked my rear end off and actually accomplished quite a bit. Then I came home and settled in to flip between Kentucky vs Louisville football and Reds vs Cardinals baseball. "We" won both.
Asleep before 10 PM.
Today is church and a family (Shelia's) get together/cookout. Tomorrow more work on my lease and grilling T-bones here. Oh, and back day. Back to work Tuesday. My current log

Thanks.
Bow season for deer opened yesterday. But, I usually don't go til later after it cools down. We also still have some deer meat in the freezer. I am working hard on that though.
I am starting to have second thoughts about not getting out there with my bow NOW. This was taken 2 days ago.

We've been seeing more deer in our neighborhood in the early evening this last several days. We live about a half- mile from a power line high-line right of way, and the deer use it for a pathway into the area. There are a lot of fruit trees around here.No brain, no gain.

Thanks Penney. It was nice.
Thanks. I'm taking it easy on deads & back for a little bit.
Thanks. We had a great anniversary.
LOL, that cool weather didn't last long.
Just keep adding a rep as I can. Once I get accustomed to more high rep stuff, I will push the first set as hard as possible.
Thanks Tiffany.
Whew, I have been busy. I have really worked hard on my hunting lease during any spare time that I have had. I have not worked out this week, other than busting my rear mowing, cutting trees, etc. etc. I'll just call it a "deload" week and get back at it next week. I've even lost 2 #'s this week eating whatever I wanted.
I will be out of town til Sat. working, so hope to catch up with everyone Sunday. My current log

Nice to see you in here Drooks.
Thanks Bronze. We will be taking 5 or 6 six kids on a youth hunt in a month. Our regular season starts in 2 months. I may bowhunt some before depending on the weather.
I have really enjoyed my time off from lifting. I got plenty of work finished and ate like a king (hog). I will get back at it tomorrow and will need everyone to make sure that I do. It enjoyed having those extra couple of hours during the day that I usually reserve for lifting.
I went to some local MMA fights last nights. Some good fights, some very bad. I can't believe some of those guys actually got into the ring.
I'll try to catch up with everyone this morning befoe church. My current log

Hey, Will,
Sounds like the time away from lifting has been good for you -- lost a coupla pounds and worked hard in other areas (i.e., the yard!).
I used to work with a guy who was involved in a multi-church organization that went out the first week of every hunting season. They would take what they killed and have the meat prepared and then donated to various homeless shelters. I had a lot of respect for that. If you're going to live off what you kill, or use it to help others stay alive, great; if you're doing it because you were drunk or bored and just wanted to hang a head on your wall...then...come a little closer and I'll get YOUR head and hang it on my wall.
Looking forward to your workouts this week -- can't wait to see what the rest has done for you!!
