Just wondering
Let me start off by saying that I have no experience with anything stronger then NO, natural test boosters (Blue up, etc.), amino acids, and creatine.
I remember when cybergenics came out, my cousin bought it and I was wishing I could afford it. (The funny thing though is that I out lifted him and outgrew him by quite a bit) Then that Andro stuff came out, and it was just too expensive for me at the time. I couldn?t even afford creatine when it first came out. I always took a multi all those years, and drank those milk and egg proteins that were around, but that was about it. Now they have a lot of stuff, both hormonal and natural that is pretty cheap.
But, I?ll be looking at some of these forums and a lot of times I?ll see where someone did this stuff and how amazing it was, they gained a bunch of weight, etc. Then I?ll notice that they are like 6? 2? and 175 lbs. Wait, I thought steroids and / or pro-hormones would make you huge. I remember thinking, man if I had that cybergenics I?d be huge like the hulk. So, I?m just wondering what?s the deal? Have I been missing anything, or is all that stuff a total waste of time and money?
Does anybody even know what that cybergenics stuff was?

1. Diet
2. Intense Training
3. Supplements
Until the above are in order nothing else matters! If the above are spot on then experiment with other sups...
but then what do I know!

I remember Cybergenics. That **** was all the rage when I was just starting out. $100 placebo effect. It's usually noobs who have been training all of 6 months who post these supplement logs claiming massive gains from some BS product. As you stated, usually guys 6'2" and 175 lbs. When you read these logs, consider the source. If a guy doesn't look like a bodybuilder, then I don't take what he has to say about bodybuilding supplements (or diet and training) very seriously.

The secret to Cybergenics was the insane workout that it came with and a boatload of newbie gains. I never saw anybody making huge gains on just the supplements it came with. I also didn't see anybody blowing up who had been lifting for any good length of time. But those guys that used it early on had some good gains.

That does make sense, because my cousin was taking the stuff and I wasn't. But, I was doing the workout program with him. It was a pretty tough workout. Plus, I worked really hard at it, because I wasn't going to let my little cousin out do me, pills or no pills. Hmmm, reverse placebo effect?
