Is it good or bad for ur heart/lungs to run when its below zero. I find lots of times i can barely breathe.

Personally i would just do jump rope like 1000x inside my house... i wouldnt run in weather that cold, but if u can, more power to you.

I used to do 10 mile runs in a foot of snow in 15 degree weather with nothing but a pair of shorts and short sleeved under armour.

Fun ****, weather never held me down.

it's intense, but I don't think it'd be bad for you, especially if you're dressing properly.

But skipping is twice as good as running AND you can do it inside....

    just sayin

If you can find a treadmill it's probably better. I know whenever I run outside in below freezing weather, I catch a cough.

lowest i've run in was like 15 degrees with bad winds...all the gyms around me charge so much unless you buy a year membership

You can die if your body goes from hot to cold too fast. If you are going to go running in really cold weather at least get adjusted or wear a jacket.

Running outside in freezing weather is good for you. The lunges and the heart must work even harder, wich makes it a great workout.

Trust me, I know. I live in Norway I actually live in the part of Norway where it is coldest in the winter. Also the town I live in (very small town) was rated as the coldest place in Norway! And I can tell you, IT IS COLD in the winter here.

So I know what it's like to run outside in cold weather.

Just remember to have at least a scarf and a hat.

shouldn't be a problem, have done so couple of times and It does making breathing harder, but if you breathe in through your nose it is already nicer. I feel that it is good for me to sometimes run in ****ty weather, it's a good change.
