What is the best way to improve the length that you can hold a plank position? I know all the common ways of increasing strength and mass but an excercise like this has me wondering what is the most effective way of training to increase my times.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
I've tried searching but didn't find anything specifiically on this.

Uhhhh......doing planks!
If you want to increase the amount of time you can hold a plank the best way to go about that is by doing the exercise. Each workout try to hold it for 5-10 seconds longer. You will quickly build up to a decent time, but your goal should be 5 minutes+
It took me 4 weeks to work up to 3 minutess and ive found that they are very beneficial exercises for your core.
Hope i helped,
