How much Xtend for cardio?
I generally do short, intense cardio sessions (20-25 minutes). I only have a 20 oz shaker, but I've been drinking 6 scoops with 20 oz during cardio. It seems like too much. Is 4 scoops is sufficient?
Also, would it have the same effect splitting the dose pre and post instead of intra? The only reason being that it's an incredible pain in the ass to take gulps from a water bottle while you're in the middle of an exhausting cardio session.

Based on your body weight, I think 2-4 scoops will be plenty. You can experiment to find what works best for you

Well, that's just the thing, since the anti-catabolic effect I'm looking for isn't really palpable, I have to depend on the old bros
But I have plenty of tubs of delicious Xtend sitting around but that doesn't mean I should waste it. Gonna start using 4 scoops, it'll probably taste less...extreme anyhow.

your meal prior to and after cardio might also dictate how much you need. Usually I only use 3 scoops (which is ~10gr BCAA)

Like I said, it's difficult to say. My cut's been going well, I've been losing weight steadily and keeping up with cardio, but my strength in the gym is [predictably] diminishing
4 seems pretty safe though, even 3 would probably work if I have a real high protein meal shortly before as kknecht said.

6 scoops of xtend for a 20 minute cardio session is ridiculous

it's not out of the question on a empty stomach to take in 6 scoops, plus we are not talking about LI cardio here, right?

I take, two scoops prior and two scoops intra.

BCAAs are worthless for a 20 minute cardio session unless you didn't eat for hours before or are not planning on eating for hours after.
But the good bros will attempt to convince you otherwise.

2-4 scoops would be plenty and you could definitely take 1-2 before you start and the rest during/after

If I'm doing 20 min of HIIT sprints while hypocaloric, BCAAs are vital. I'd rather drink free form BCAAs, than have my body break down my muscle tissue to get them.

What kind of muscle is he going to be burning doing 20 minutes of cardio, assuming he has a proper pre and post workout meal? If 6 scoops of xtend is required for 20 minutes of cardio, whats required for 90 minutes of intense heavy training- 12 scoops? Im not dissing on xtend I use it all the time, but 2-3 scoops gets the job done no matter the situation IMO.

Remember he said that he does an intense, exhausting 20 mins of cardio. Not low intensity. To me this means that both is legs and lungs are burning for the majority of the session.
Lando knows about preserving muscle mass while dieting. Take a look at his last contest prep.

I haven't done a leg workout that hasn't burned my legs and lungs for the majority of the session (in different ways), for 90 minutes straight. I dont see 20 minutes of cardio equating to 90 minutes of working legs in this case, and if it does, then Like I said I guess you would need double the xtend for the workout.
Lando atleast reccomended 4 scoops as a minimum. Also, we're not specifically talking about dieting and cardio, the OP made no mention of that. That is why I see no reason why proper pre/post nutrition would require one to drink 6 scoops of xtend during cardio, or any scoops for that matter.
