Get some waxy maze starch to mix with your GM pre-workout. Carbs give killer pumps.

^^^ I tried glycomaize and the stuff is too messy. after i get done mixing it up, it looks like someone threw flour all over me.
does anyone else feel CM is overrated or ineffective in terms of pump/strength gains?

x2, carbs pre workout are the best pump. not nitric oxide, but still a great pump

Nitric oxide is a joke anyway. There is no scientifically proven benefit to increased NO levels. In fact, what is proven is that it actually increases the threat of free radical damage.

i'm taking 2 Source Naturals Arginine/Citrulline complex tabs with GreenMag pre and i get a decent pump & vascularity, but it's nothing like i got when adding them with Storm or Clout.
Storm already contained Arginine & Citrulline but underdosed. with Clout i would mix it with Gatorade powder to give it a better flavor so with the addition of that combined with the Arginine/Citrulline tabs was a recipe for pumps.

Waxy maize is waxy maize. I'm sure they are all just about the same.

does Citrulline convert to Arginine or how does it go?

Basically, the body combines Citrulline and aspartic acid to form arginine. Arginine is then used for Nitric Oxide synthase which in return produces Nitric Oxide (obviously) and Citrulline. From there, the theory is, the citrulline can be recycled to continue the process of arginine formation and thus NO production.

Vasodilation > Enhanced blood flow > Improved nutrient/waste transfer, correct me if I'm wrong.I agree on the increase in oxidation processes.

That's the theory, yes. There is no real evidence to support that supplementing with arginine , or anything for increased NO production, will enhance nutrient delivery enough to make it worth while. All an increase in NO does is increase blood flow, which is just as easily done through the use of insulin. Eat carbs > Spike Insulin > enhance blood flow > enhance nutrient delivery. I'm not saying you should go around spiking your insulin all the time, that's certainly a bad idea, but at the proper times it may be worth while, like surrounding a workout. Especially since you'll be using those carbs to fuel your workout anyway.
