I see these things have like 240 calories and 44g carbs and 10g protein. Are they really good for workout even during Cutting?

most clif bars are pretty weak. they will produce a nice insulin spike, but the portion of protein is meager. that is unless you buy the bodybuilding (or whatever they call it) clif bar which has 20 grams of protein I believe. you may also want to look into balance bars, which are cheap, tasty and have 20 grams of protein as well.
if you work out hard, the calories in a regular clif bar shouldn't be a problem.

Quick carb sorce, in meaning what? As in just getting a mix of complex carbs such as oats, or are u referring QUICK carb source as simple carbs like fruit?
IMO, i would have to say a Cliff Bar = a really good cardio type of workout food, all though it can be used for any type of workout.Last edited by ilove2run; 07-31-2009 at 12:36 PM. Reason: spell check
