Napping?

Since I officially switch my time at the gym to 6am to 7:30am, I sometimes
have downtime in between 8am and anywhere to 11am to 4pm before I have to go to
one of my jobs.

If I took a nap in between, or just...went to sleep till about 1 hour 1/2 to 2 hours before work,
would that hinder and/or benefit me in anyway?

I'm thinking it would benefit you if you're lifting heavy or just generally very active. you can never underestimate the importance of rest. It's always best to get about 8 hours of sleep but if you can't do that, take a nap. If you have to be active right after your nap, don't nap more than 45 mins. you'll avoid sleep inertia that way (groggyness).

Sleep inertia has never been a problem, I get a random energy surge from
the randomness around me 24/7. But, thanks for the advice!

Everyone around still claims I sleep to much, haha!
