Curious to hear your experiences with these algae's. Just started taking them about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Been hearing lots of good stuff about it...wanted to know your personal experiences.

Anyone Take Chlorella and/or Spirulina?

I take the powder form...and YES..it tastes like actual pond scum! So I just mix it with lemonade flavor crystal light and chug it down...it's tolerable that way. ^^YES they are "superfoods"...not supps. So far...it's got my plumbing working pretty regular...so looking forward to the other health benefits.

Yup...that's all the "superfoods" in one! But TBH...there's prolly a very small amount of each superfood...prolly not enough of any superfood to be that beneficial to health. It would costs too much and the pill would be bigger than a toothbrush!
I don't like to buy "blends"...I much prefer to just buy each item separately. This way I'm sure to get sufficient quantities of each. High In Carbs
I love the Odwalla spirulina, but it's loaded with carbs. I'll probably add it to a cheat day. (Just learned this yesterday.) Maybe a shot glass of it with a high fat meal would be coo.

Yes. The algaes/superfoods should be taken on an empty stomach at least half an hour before you eat.
1. So it doesn't have to compete for absorption with your food.
2. They are SO nutritiously dense, eating them before a meal will make you want to eat less since your body is getting a good shot of vitamins, it will reduce your food cravings.
The high magnesium content in spirulina has completely eradicated my sweet tooth for example. I no longer crave sweets, chocolates, etc. Same thing easing carb cravings too.
Not to mention, since being back on it a few weeks now, I have so much energy I need to burn off I think I may take up running.

Spirulina powder
I take it in powder form: I juice my fruits And veggies 4 times a day and when I do I pour the juice in a blender with the spirulina, wheatgrass powder,an avocado, scoop of whey iso 100, coconut water, and blend it all up! It's a great smoothy without all the crap' its great to get all ur veggies, omegas, protein and nutrients down with great flavor!! So yummy!
