Pics of my boyfriends torn pec surgery

He just had surgery on the 5th of Nov. and still has alot of pain obviously. He almost gets a sensation of the shoulder actually feeling dislocated at times, which is one of the questions if this is normal or if he should have it looked at asap..... But here are 2 pics for you fellow lifters to cringe at.....

He aggravated it trying to bench 350lbs, and then took some time off, and he got into liftin heavy again after it started feeling better, went to do some incline dumbell presses with 90's....... There she went..... like velcro ripping to pieces.

yes he will start physical therapy after 6 weeks in the sling.

those are pics of me actually, the **** hurts more than I can explain. I have more mobilization than I expected but I havent pushed it hard or anything so dont think im crazy (yet)..... But I know there is a long road of recovery for this type of injury to patience is the best cure. I just hope it goes by fast

A co-worker had the same thing happen to him (while benching). Me and him dont get along too well, otherwise I would ask him what he did for recovery.
I do know he took around 2 months off lifting

That is the stitch threading. I had to remove one of the pieces of tape cause it was ripping my arm pit hair out. I shoulda shaved it before I had the surgery but hey what can ya do .....

You made it sound like it was gonna be a nasty looking injury. All I see is tape stuck to the dude's armpit hair. In any case, wish the dude the best in recovery.

It wasnt posted to be a nasty pic it was posted to show the incision. Alot of us talk about our injuries but dont post the results and pics and I wanted to share my experience. And obviously it will be more visible if I could take the tape off which I cant till the 25th for my post op appointment.

And believe me or from anyone who has had this, it feels 100x's worse than it looks without a doubt...... Keeping your arm immobilized 99% of the time for 4-6 weeks isnt any fun

Well sleep last night was a bitch, its not easy sleeping with your arm immobilized, Hard to describe but its just very very uncomfortable.
