Is flavored water the same as regular water? Does it contain "more" calories? I'm just confused about this. I love Dasani flavored water, and was just worrying i'm hogging calories i really don't need.
Any opinions? - Thanks

I never understand why people recommend avoiding things like diet soda, then recommend Crystal Light which has almost identical ingredients.
It doesn't contain more calories. The only thing it does is promote your sweet tooth. If you want to make more of an overall lifestyle change, then avoid it, because really, you don't need it. If you keep drinking it now, you'll be more likely to drink calorie-full flavored drinks after your diet is over or whatever.

O'rly?
Care to post some peer-reviewed studies (not Internet rumor-mongering) that prove this?
Some people just can't take the taste of straight water all the time. To the OP: try some lime/lemon juice, see if you like it. If not, the flavored water won't kill you nor will it do appreciable damage to your physique.LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO BE SMALL
