Werdum Out of UFC
Hey Everybody,
It's a shame that he performed so poorly in his last fight. I think he still has a lot of potential.

He bored the hell out of me in his last fights and his attitude about the whole 4 men tournament was really innapropriate.
The guy also had an enormous gut in his last fight and came out of shape.

WTF!? I am so disappointed by this news. I admit he looked out of shape for his last fight and clearly it cost him big time, but was a genuine talent and letting him go will only weaken the UFC's already shallow HW division further.
Oh well, at least we can hopefully look forward to some good match ups for him in Affliction or possibly a rematch with Overeem in DREAM.

I think the loss to Dos Santos makes him borderline Top 10.
I think that it had to do with money more then anything. After losing to Dos Santos he would have been paid alot of cash to build himself back up. Add in his lack of motivation to keep himself in shape and The UFC wanted to renegotiate his contract. He probably could have stayed if he had accepted less money but Japan calls i suppose. I just hope he is careful about the anabolics this time just in case he is called back to the states to fight. The last time he appeared in the USA after being overseas for a while he tested positive.
It is universally well known, that in digesting our common food, there is created or produced in the bowels of human creatures, a great quantity of wind. That the permitting this air to escape and mix with the atmosphere, is usually offensive to the company, from the fetid smell that accompanies it. That all well-bred people therefore, to avoid giving such offence, forcibly restrain the efforts of nature to discharge that wind.

yeah heard of it a while ago.. sucks cause the hw division is not that deep and werdum is a solid fighter.... but its not cause he sucks or anything they just didnt come to terms.. maybe werdum wanted more money then the ufc had in budget for him.. best of luck to him... i know he would killed lesnar.
i really wanted to see lesnar fight other ppl before the belt.. i would ****ing be real pist off if he gets the belt.. i say they should of put him against gonzaga and werdum before a shot.. the fought the winner of couture/nog..
but i know that nog will break him.. and fedor also... couture should be able too but its not a good matchup.

He didnt. It was my mistake. I should have checked my source but i was going from memory. I had him confused with Pawel Nastula. He tested positive back in 10/2006 when he fought Josh Barnett in Vegas. But we all know the Pride guys love the juicy juice, lol.
